Fall / Winter Events
Halloween Haunted House & Fun Night
The City of Texas City offers a spooktacular and exciting event for our citizens and surrounding communities to celebrate Halloween. This event provides activities for ghosts and goblins of all ages and includes outdoor games, moonwalks, a haunted house and costume contest
Texas City Rotary Club Veteran's Day Salute
Each year the Texas City Rotary Club and the City of Texas City collaborate to honor our nation's veterans. A ceremony is held at the Rotary Pavilion in Nessler Park, with live entertainment, guest speaks and more to honor those who have fought for our country's freedoms.
Father / Daughter Dance
Few of life's relationships compare to a father and daughter. From the first time she grasps his finger, to the day he lets her go, their bond deepens. To celebrate and honor this important relationship the City of Texas City Recreation Department host an annual Father/Daughter Dance at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center in February.
Come out for an evening of fine dining and dancing. We will be doing the conga dance to line dances again; father and daughter of all ages will have a great time this year. Tickets will go on sale after Christmas.
