Texas City Special Event Permit Application
In April 2022, the City of Texas City Commission passed Ordinance 22-08 "Mass Gathering Ordinance." This ordinance requires special events to apply for a permit. This application must be made at least sixty (60) days before the date the event will be held.
The event application below must be filled out and sent to Kristin Edwards, Director of Economic Development. Upon receipt, the application will be reviewed by the Special Events Committee. The committee may require the applicant to meet in order to discuss the event in greater detail. Within fifteen (15) days of receiving the application, a determination will be made.
