Strategic Plan

The library is excited to announce our new October 2021- September 2024 Strategic Plan. A Strategic Plan is an organized Roadmap for the priorities of an organization. Our Strategic Plan always covers a 3 year period and focuses on the major goals and objectives we will accomplish.

Our Strategic Plan has always been one of the best ways for the public to see what we do, how we do it, and where we're going.  It's our way to not only be transparent about how your library works, but also accountable!  With this Strategic Plan we are going to have more updates than ever before.  That way you can follow how we are doing and

Some of this Plan's top priorities are: Become Social services hub fro Galveston County; To increase programming and outreach to marginalized groups, neuro-divergent youth and adults, homeschool groups and more; To create a county-wide Archivist group to share resources, technology, training, and more
